The Flavor of Quality
Wagyu beef, also known as American-Style Kobe beef, is the result of cross breeding Japanese Wagyu cattle with continental breeds. The result is a highly sought after rich, buttery texture when cooked. Kobe is reserved exclusively for cattle raised in the Kobe region of Japan. The same quality of cattle raised outside of Japan must be identified as Wagyu or Kobe-Style.
