Wagyu beef, also known as American-Style Kobe beef, is the result of cross breeding Japanese Wagyu cattle with continental breeds of cattle. Kobe beef is highly sought after because of its intense marbling and rich, buttery texture when cooked. Want to buy Kobe beef? You'll be paying a pretty penny, as the name Kobe is reserved exclusively for cattle raised in the Kobe region of Japan. The same quality of cattle raised outside of Japan must be identified as Wagyu or Kobe-Style.

We get all of our beef exclusively from Snake River Farms, a family owned and operated business in Boise, Idaho.
