General Responsibilities:
Financial
- Assist the kitchen manager with ordering and maintaining stock of all food products
- Assist the kitchen manager with counting weekly and monthly inventory
- Input weekly invoices to assist the kitchen manager with food cost analytics
Human Resources
- Participate in interviewing and hiring process for cooks
- Participate in discipline of cooks
- Conduct effective training program for all new cooks
- Identify and train future kitchen managers
Operations
- Maintain proper prep levels and cooking standards
- Plan and/or conduct regular training to further staff knowledge
- Ensure day to day operations are up to our standard (portion control and quality control)
- Interact with staff on a daily basis to keep the team both happy and motivated
